Lilac floral water

Drinking floral water has something magical and majestic about it! It's giving yourself a luxury at a very low price and feeling truly hot for a glass of water ;) Show off with this lilac-flavored floral water that is super fast and so delicious!

To make drinkable lilac-flavored floral water, here's a simple method:

Ingredients:

  • Fresh, clean lilac flowers
  • Filtered or spring water
  • Citrus fruits: lemon, lime, or orange, to your preference
  • Optional: a little maple syrup or honey to lightly sweeten (optional)

Instructions:

  • Pick fresh lilac flowers, ensuring they haven't been treated with chemicals or pesticides. Choose flowers that are in their prime, but avoid wilted ones.
  • Gently rinse the lilac flowers under cold water to remove any dirt or insects.
  • Gently place the lilac flowers in your container.
  • Pour fresh water over the lilac flowers in the jar, submerging them completely.
  • Add citrus fruits.
  • Let infuse in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or even overnight, to allow the flavors to develop.
  • Once infused, filter the floral water through a fine sieve or a piece of clean cloth to remove the lilac flowers.
  • If desired, add a little sugar or honey to lightly sweeten the floral water, according to your preferences.
  • Store the floral water in the refrigerator.
